Legal
Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what rights you have over it. It is written under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.
Who is responsible
Stella Marina Guillabert-Albini, sole trader, SIREN 882 114 689, Rue Millie, 20260 Calvi, France, is the data controller. You can reach her at stellamarina.idelib@gmail.com for anything in this policy, including to exercise your rights.
What is collected, and why
When you use the contact form. Your name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to provide it, and anything you write in the message. This data is used only to answer you and, if your enquiry leads to a booking, to organise it. The legal basis is the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and the legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
When you book a session or a workshop. The information needed to perform the agreement between us, and the information required on an invoice. The legal basis is the performance of the contract and, for invoicing and accounting records, a legal obligation.
When you subscribe to the newsletter. Your email address, and nothing else. It is used to send occasional news about workshops, available dates and published work. The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to the address below, and every message sent will carry a way to unsubscribe.
When you browse the site. The host records technical connection data, including IP address, for security and for the operation of the service. The legal basis is legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure.
The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell human visitors from automated ones. It checks the interaction with the page; it does not track you across websites.
Who has access
Your data is never sold and never shared for advertising. It is accessible to Stella Marina, and to the service providers needed to run the site and the enquiry process, each acting on instruction:
- Vercel: hosting of the website (United States)
- Cloudflare: protection of the contact form against automated submissions (United States)
- Make: routing of form submissions to the email inbox and to a private spreadsheet (European Union)
- Google: email inbox and spreadsheet used to keep track of enquiries (United States)
It may also be disclosed where the law requires it.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some of these providers process data in the United States. Those transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses otherwise, together with the additional safeguards set out in each provider's data processing agreement.
How long it is kept
- Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: three years from the last contact.
- Client files: for the duration of the engagement, then five years.
- Newsletter subscriptions: until you unsubscribe, and in any case removed after three years without any interaction.
- Invoices and accounting records: ten years, as French commercial law requires.
- Technical connection logs: for the period applied by the host.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, for it to be corrected or erased, for its processing to be restricted, and for a copy of it in a portable format. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to stellamarina.idelib@gmail.com and you will get an answer within one month.
If you believe your data is not being handled properly, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France (cnil.fr)
